Description
TrolMaster Dual Condition Adaptor(DCC-1)
The TrolMaster DCC-1 offers an uncomplicated way to manage a single device under multiple conditions. For instance, it's common to activate exhaust fans when the temperature or humidity exceeds a certain level, or to deactivate CO2 when the exhaust fans are in operation. There are numerous scenarios where two conditions might be merged or separated.
The DCC-1 is intended for use alongside one of TrolMaster’s plug-in style modules (DSC-1, DSH-1/2, DST-1/2, DSP-1/2, DSV-1, and DSD-1).
By connecting to the plug-in module via the built-in RJ12 cable of the DCC-1, it will work together with the plug-in module to manage any device that is connected to the module.
The DCC-1 can operate in two distinct modes via the "Interlock" function.
INTERLOCK OFF: With the DCC-1 interlock switched off, EITHER of the conditions linked to the paired modules can trigger the device independently. (modules operate in "parallel")
For example, with interlock OFF:
- An exhaust fan may be activated to lower temperature or humidity.
- An exhaust fan may be turned on at night using a recycling timer OR if the humidity exceeds a certain level.
INTERLOCK ON: When the DCC-1 Interlock is engaged, BOTH conditions associated with the module pair must be met SIMULTANEOUSLY to activate the device. (modules operate in "series")
For instance, with interlock ON:
- A CO2 device will be turned off when an exhaust fan is in operation.
- Lights will be turned off if the temperature in the area becomes excessively high.
